We get it. But hear us out.
A Customer Relationship Management software is a wonderful yet complex piece of software. Wonderful because it can be designed to fit almost any business type. And complex because it has a lot of moving parts that need to be assembled to fit your business needs.
To a trained person, a CRM is like a set of lego blocks. A lot of fun with endless possibilities. To the untrained, however, using a CRM can feel like the control panel inside the cockpit of a Boeing 737.
That is why most CRMs end up becoming messy really quickly. Duplicates, empty records and multiple confusing associations. Dozens of dashboards with replicas of reports because leadership could not find the right report when they needed it. Hundreds of repetitive custom properties where only 20 are actually being used. Not to mention the lack of shared understanding of CRM setup resulting in executional confusion like which properties to toggle, to what and when.
The list of CRM challenges are almost endless.
We worked with a lot of companies for their Go-To Market. Ranging from young Series-A tech startups to more mature scaleups and even Fortune 500 companies. If there's one underlying commonality, it's a chaotic CRM.
That's why Sidekick came into being. Our goal with Sidekick is to make the CRM as easy as texting for end users. And along the way, make the CRM intelligent, actionable and proactive.
Here's our framework behind building Sidekick:

Why should the reps have to remember the filters they need to apply to find the most interested leads. Or sift through 100s of similar sounding properties just to update the right one.

CRMs require a lot of specific learning curve. We'd much rather have sales people spend time selling and learning about customers than learning CRM.
